Hi everyone! I am updating the info real fast, but I have just realized I did not post in SLHunts or HuntSL when I fell ill again with kidney issues. I am all better now, and realizing that we are far behind on applications….

SOOOOO I am moving the hunt to November to give me a bit of time to catch up on bringing more stores in, and seeing if we can rock November with a fantastic hunt for our hunters:)

A month left to sign up!

Hiii everyone! Yes, I am still here, and just came back from a little bit of a “staycation” with the RL hubby to rejuvenate my health and my brain to prepare me for this week of attempting to “cold-call” on stores along with my other SL responsibilities (I gotta pay bills too:D), so I can bring in some more great stores into the hunt!:D I am sliding my own high-heeled sneakers to hit those teleports hard today, so help me by applying before I have to hunt you down!:D

Please do me a favor, and read through the Merchant Rules, check if your store fits the requirements for the hunt…. I am not strict really, but I do like to make the hunt easy for you, me, and allllll our hunters we are going to send to you:D

The theme this round is “Fall of Rome”. Are you sitting there going, “What the heck can I make for that theme???”, we named it that way for a reason;) Not just for a historial theme aspect, but also you can interpret it as you wish… Fall/Autumn theme, Rome as in just something historially or normally thought of as Roman (togas, wraps, and towels are BIG right now in SL, with all the spa sims! Hint hint!)… have some FUN with it! We love items from all aspects of the mature/adult-friendly creator community! Clothing, furniture, accessories, poses, artwork, buildings, anything that you think will fit into our hunt.

Announcing HYIS: Fall of Rome

It’s been awhile since I threw a little something different your way for a theme, and this little suggestion from Cert for “Fall of Rome” was actually PERFECT for this time of year! My favorite kinds of themes that we do are ones that can be interpreted numerous ways, and this is one of them. I totally expect to see a mix of autumn-inspired items, some togas, some lovely Roman Empire-flavored furniture pieces maybe?:D The imagination is the limit, so feel free to have some fun with this theme!

The applications are back open, but I ABSOLUTELY NEED you to read CAREFULLY through the Merchant Rules . Even you returning store owners. We had to chase a LOT of merchants last time, because I don’t think more than 4 people actually read the rules, the timeline, my notecards…. Please help Certified and I to run a better hunt, by actually making sure you can work with our rules (like putting out the sign properly, communicating with us, etc;D ). Please read the rules, and read the application through slowly.

Cert has also strengthened the scripts in our hunt, and made ways for us to check each store faster. Hopefully this will help it run easier for the administration side of things this time, especially if my health mutinies on me again.

I cannot wait to see who all applies! This round is going to definitely be interesting;)

It’s almost that time, when we get ready to rock the grid with the hunt for the elusive Mr. Happy!

3 more days until we start!!!!! Set those alarms on your Alexas, mark those calendars, and get ready to get your hunt on! We begin on June 15th at 00:00am SLT (Yes, first thing in the morning, when people still think it is June 14th, for the confused;) )

This hunt, I am doing something SLIGHTLY different from my normal…. the headquarters you are seeing in the info is not the normal Rancourt permanent Headquarters, but the satellite headquarters I have placed at Boulevard3, the adult hangout sim that one of my closest friends, Lita Masterson is offering. It’s a free adult place, you can hangout anywhere on the parcel between stores and… AND…. our beloved little church is now set up with naughty confessional land pews for your enjoyment. Yes, my friends, we really ARE back, and we are out for fresh (and established) stores!

We are currently at 16 stores applied and approved as of today (22nd of March), and the application is still open til the 1st of June. If you are interested in being in the hunt and are considering applying, please make sure to read the merchant rules to check that your store will be able to comply with the requirements. I know my rules are a little strict, but trust me when I say that they are in place to help the hunt run smoothly for you AND me both, and to make it an extremely fun hunt for all;)

I am looking for stores within every category of creator content:
Clothing, Fashion Accessories, Furniture, Skins, Shapes, cosmetics, art, poses, buildings, etc that caters to the adult and mature-minded customerbase. My main goal is high-quality, current stores (mesh, suitable for the current fave mesh bodies, etc) who have owners/managers that are wanting to have a little fun this summer;) We’ve been having a ton of fun (and SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many cocky references in honor of Mr. Happy, our mascot and the hunt object) for many years now, and we would absolutely love to have you join us!

Y’all would not BELIEVE the year the whole world has had…. oh wait. You all have witnessed it.

As you all might have noticed, the round that we were planning on doing November 2020 did not happen. I actually THOUGHT I had put a message on the website, but apparently I did not and I apologize.
At the time that I was trying to get stores to apply, half of Europe apparently could not get to this website. They were getting errors, had to refresh a couple times to get the website to pull up, etc. I could not, in good conscience, run the hunt when so many of you could not apply to be one of the stores in the hunt, and soooo many of you hunters would not be able to see the hints page or anything else.

As Cerified Lunasea (our webmaster/masterscriptkitty) explained it: “In short it was the global shortage of IPv4 addresses. The site was IPv4 only because the hosting provider has not yet implemented IPv6 connectivity within their network because doing so can be a difficult process for complex networks and they want to make sure to do it without any issues to customers. Unfortunately for us not all ISPs are savvy enough to provide proper tunnel services to customers who were only given IPv6 addresses. Because of this we contacted our host for a fix and were able to find a workaround with their help that allows us to provide IPv6 connectivity to the site, alleviating the issues. Within the next 2 years the host expects to provide native IPv6 connectivity to all their customers at which time we will be able to discontinue using the workaround.
TLDR; We fixed it so the site should work now.”

SOOOOO… We are officially announcing that the Hunt for Your Inner Slut – Bound in Love round is back on! I was truly heartbroken I didn’t get to do this, so I am doing this theme and doing it right;P The applications will close June 1, 2021 and the HUNT WILL RUN June 15-July 15, 2021. It will be glorious, hopefully. I have been truly wanting to bring this hunt to you all, and now we can:D

Mr. Happy (the golden cock) and I have missed you all. Especially him. Imagine being a cock, and not only being shoved in a dark inventory for a year, then dragged out and given a makeover! You will get to re-meet him soon:P

Hello, my lovely ones, I am running slightly late getting the applications launched, but it is NOW LIVE!

The texture for the hunt is on the post from last night🙂 You will notice that the design I have made for the texture has an odd block with the words “HYIS Sponsors” written. I plan on choosing sponsors as fast as I can, and doing up a replacement texture with the logos of the sponsors superimposed over the band of black velvet. The sign this time is inspired by a version of the movie poster for “Secretary“. This round’s theme is “Bound In Love”, which will be a bit of a fetishy flavor to all of the gifts:) Even though we are running during the Holiday season of Samhain/Halloween, I want the gifts to be items that can be used year-round, and not just forgotten about in someone’s inventory after the 1st of November (well, unless you love spookiness year-round:D).

Please make sure to read over the rules for Merchants before you go to the Application page, so you know for certain that you will fit in:) When you apply to be a store in Hunt for Your Inner Slut, we recommend starting your item right away, so you can have it ready before the hunt setup:D Even if there is a chance that you might not be a good fit, you can still sell it, right?;)
